Dr. Kasey-Kalei Tamashiro
Dr. Kasey-Kalei Tamashiro is known and loved by her patients as Dr. Kalei! A Maui native, Dr. Kalei is proud to continue a family legacy in dentistry. After completing her K-12 education at Kamehameha Schools Maui in 2011, Dr. Kalei pursued her passion for health sciences, earning a B.S. in Nutritional Science from Pepperdine University in 2015.
Her journey in dentistry culminated with a DMD from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in 2022. Returning to Maui in late summer 2022, she joined her father's practice, fulfilling her lifelong dream of serving her community through dentistry.
Dr. Kalei is a member of prestigious dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Hawaiʻi Dental Association, Maui County Dental Society, Maui Postgraduate Dental Forum - Seattle Study Club, Hawaiʻi Terry Tanaka Study Group, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Casey Tamashiro
Dr. Casey Tamashiro, a dedicated dentist born and raised on Maui, has been a pillar of dental excellence in the community since 1992.
After his initial studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Dr. Casey pursued a career in dentistry, graduating from the prestigious University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. He returned to Maui before realizing his dream of opening his own practice in 1993.
Dr. Casey's journey in dentistry is marked by his dedication to his patients and his passion for creating a comfortable, inviting dental office. He is a respected member of the American Dental Association, Hawaiʻi Dental Association, Maui County Dental Society, and the Maui Postgraduate Dental Forum - Seattle Study Club.

Origin Story
In 1993, nestled in the heart of Maui, a local couple embarked on a journey to serve their community with compassionate dental care. Dr. Casey Tamashiro and his wife founded their dental practice in a quaint office on Lower Main Street, rooted in the local values of aloha and familial care. With a mission to treat every patient with the same warmth and respect as they would their own family, Dr. Tamashiro quickly became a beacon of community service on the island.
As the practice flourished, the need for a larger space became evident. Driven by their unwavering commitment to their community, the Tamashiros set off to find the perfect location to expand their care. The Tamashiros soon realized that in order to provide the best possible care, they needed to build the office themselves.
The new state-of-the-art facility was designed with the community in mind, embodying the spirit of aloha and the local values that the Tamashiros hold dear. Through every stage of growth, The Drs. Tamashiro have remained dedicated to serving Maui's community, ensuring that each patient feels like part of the family. Built from the ground up in the spirit of service, The Drs. Tamashiro's practice symbolizes their original mission — to serve Maui with aloha and care.
